Hey everyone!

This month as I celebrate my birthday, I’m continuing my annual practice of reflecting on the past year. This time of reflection has become a cherished ritual for me—a moment to pause, appreciate, and assess the highs and lows that have shaped my journey.

This year has been a whirlwind of significant changes: leaving New York and living out of a suitcase while exploring Central America, then returning to Israel and living on Kibbutz Erez near the Gaza border. We came home to a country at war which has presented us with a bunch of challenges.

The situation here is a mix of extremes. While the war has brought a lot of suffering and uncertainty, it has also magnified the importance of finding stability in our daily routines. Even with all this craziness, I have found comfort in the familiar, discovering resilience through living life.

I feel that people here are still trying to comprehend what has happened. Some of our best friends are having great difficulty coping with their own stories from that day. Honestly, I can’t begin to imagine what they went through. The recent tragedy and the aftermath of the October 7th massacre have left an indelible mark.

This year, I’ve experienced a lot of growth. I have been enjoying the outdoors on a daily basis, keeping in tune with my body and spending time with family and friends. Pushing forward with work and keeping a schedule has provided a sense of purpose and normalcy. My routine has helped keep me grounded and positive.

One of my key takeaways from this year is the importance of focusing on what is in my control, accepting what is beyond it and just learning to RELEASE. I am finding that accepting these limits and making the most of my opportunities, enables me to more easily navigate through whatever life throws at me.

Another big takeaway is how much positive energy I get from thinking and feeling gratitude. I try to wake up in the morning and name three things for which I feel grateful. And before bed, I try to name something very specific that was positive from my day. This allows me to relate to what is going on with perspective and to feel like I’m always learning and moving forward.

And on that note, I just want to say a huge thank you for being part of this past year with me. Your support has meant the world. It's been amazing to see Muvwell grow and evolve because of it. I'm really excited about what's next, and can't wait to keep growing, connecting and MUVing with you in the year ahead!

With much love and gratitude,

Liron
